According to the ADA:  Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics: Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics is the dental specialty that includes the diagnosis, prevention, interception, and correction of malocclusion, as well as neuromuscular and skeletal abnormalities of the developing or mature orofacial structures. (Adopted May 2018).

On your first visit, our orthodontist will discuss your needs and goals.  Common treatment options are Invisalignclear or metal braces, or repositioning retainers.  Following examination, we will decide together what is the best course for your case.  Duration of treatment, cost and the process of treatment are all important to consider.  Most often orthodontics is a partially covered insurance benefit.

They exclusively do endodontic procedures because they are specialists. Endodontics is one of the nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association.

Prosthodontics is one of the nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association. Graduate programs in Prosthodontics include classroom lectures and seminars, laboratory and clinical training in esthetics/cosmetics, crownsbridgesveneers, inlays, complete and removable partial denturesdental implants, TMD-jaw joint problems, traumatic injuries to oral structures, congenital or birth anomalies to teeth, snoring, sleep disorders, and oral cancer reconstruction and continuing care.
